Jord Wood Watch Motorcycle...A Stunning Piece of Art! - JORD Blog
A few months back, one of our team members came in contact with a man by the name of Dan Tanenbaum. Needless to say he is one of the most creative and stunning artists we have ever met. Dan creates motorcycle masterpieces entirely of watch parts.
A project of constructing an art piece from such unique watches can take a delicate and steady hand. Over the past few days, Dan has worked timelessly to critique and make sure this challenging JORD Wood Watch Motorcycle was built to perfection.
If you would like to view additional images and videos of Dan's steps along the way can visit his Facebook album JORD Wood Watch Parts Motorcycle Project.
The video below is the final piece that was completed today! We are extremely happy and fortunate to work with an artist and business man such as Mr. Tanenbaum. Enjoy! ;)

JORD Wood Watches & Mr. Tanenbaum
We contacted Watch Parts Motorcycle and Dan to see if he would be interested in building a unique miniature wood motorcycle out of several JORD Wood timepieces. With an immediate response, Dan responded with "I would love to make a bad A** motorcycle out of your watches." The response was a no-brainer for us...we were in! ;) With both parties quite busy, the project was postponed until after the New Year. January 14, 2014 the timepieces were shipped. We provided Dan with:- (2) Limited Edition 746 Series
- (1) Delmar Series
- (2) Sully Series Black & Maple
- (2) Sully Series Cherry & Maple
- (1) 94A Series
The JORD Wood Watch Motorcycle Project
After receiving the wooden timepieces, Dan couldn't help himself but to dive in creating the first miniature motorcycle built from 100% all natural wood watches. The video below is a brief intro in the Wooden Motorcycle project that Dan considered to be one of his more complicated and challenging projects.A project of constructing an art piece from such unique watches can take a delicate and steady hand.
