OUR STORIES
STORIES FROM JORD DESIGNERS, ARTISTS, MARKETERS, & FANS
We LOVE Halloween here in the JORD office! Last year we convinced one of our designers to step away from the keyboard and hand carve a JORD pumpkin.
Spooky, right? Well, this year he wanted to refine the design and gave us three different options for what he would be willing to carve. We loved them all, and he will now have to carve all three. That's what you get for going above and beyond at JORD. More work. We also thought we should share them with all of you and start a carving contest for the designs!
The JORD Team is a visual group. Whether it’s sweating over the look of our timepieces, or staring out the window from our desks, we need visually interesting things in our day to day.
So you won't be surprised when we tell you we spend a good deal of our time on Instagram. You might call us explorers of the social channel, which we would thank you for because it’s a nice way of saying that we “spend too much time” on it.
We do…NOT want you to be a hot ball of stress on your wedding day!
So we’ve asked Haley Burkhead, a newlywed bride, to share her tips on how to handle it all, while enjoying yourself in the process. Read on for her field tested advice and tips, and share some of yours in the comments below.
This is the first of a new series on our blog called Spending Time Wisely! We will be introducing you to some of our favorite bloggers who are fortunate enough to live in travel worthy places. They will be giving you insider advice on how to spend your precious time while in their lovely locals. For our inaugural post we have Carmen Launspach of The SLCTD. Carmen is a Dutch fashion and lifestyle blogger who is currently enjoying all things Paris. Read on for her well tested recommendations.

Though this summer in St. Louis it’s more raining cats and dogs than the hot hot heat we’re used to, we have still managed to enjoy the longer days the summer schedule brings. When we aren’t at work, we’re out exploring everything that our Midwestern town has to offer…or just Netflixing for hours on end. To each their own, right? :)
